At Stone’s Teddy Roosevelt Terriers, we believe responsible breeding starts long before puppies are born. Every pairing is carefully planned with the goal of preserving everything that makes the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier special — sound structure, stable temperament, working ability, intelligence, and long-term health.
Our dogs are first and foremost family, but they are also a reflection of years of dedication to this breed both inside and outside of the show ring.
Health Guarantee
We proudly stand behind the puppies we produce with a genetic health guarantee and lifelong breeder support. Bringing a puppy into the world is something we take seriously, and we remain committed to every puppy long after they leave our home.
Embark & OFA Testing
Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing through Embark DNA and OFA evaluations. These screenings help us make informed breeding decisions by evaluating genetic health, orthopedic soundness, and breed-specific concerns before breeding ever takes place.
Health testing is one of the many tools we use to help preserve and protect the future of the breed we love.
Preventative Care
Puppies are raised on an age-appropriate vaccination and deworming schedule prior to placement. Before leaving for their new homes, puppies are microchipped, DNA profiled, receive a wellness exam, and go home with detailed health records.
Raised With Intention
Our puppies are raised inside our home with daily handling, enrichment, grooming exposure, household sounds, and age-appropriate socialization from the very beginning. We focus on building confident, well-adjusted puppies that are prepared for life as beloved companions, performance dogs, and show prospects.
